Man seriously injured after collision on M18 southbound near Bramley

A MAN has been seriously injured after a car and lorry collided on the M18 southbound near Bramley this morning (Monday).

Emergency services were called to the junction 1 southbound carriageway at 3.30am after reports of a collision. 

"It was reported that a lorry and a car were involved in the collision," said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police. 

"The driver of the car, a man believed to be in his 30s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries."
