Man punched unconscious

WITNESSES are being sought to a vicious late-night attack on a 47-year-old man.

Police are appealing information after the man, from Broom, was assaulted around midnight last Sunday outside the offices of solicitors Oxford and Coward on Moorgate Street.

In what appears to be a completely unprovoked attack, a man approached the victim and punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground where he lost consciousness.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a grey hooded top with grey jogging bottoms. He was about 5ft 10in tall with a slim build and short dark hair.
