The teenager reported the assault to police, who interviewed and charged Rumble.

Det Sgt Laura Jones said: “Rumble denied ever committing this awful crime, meaning his victim had to recount the assault for the courts.

“I am pleased with the positive conviction and I hope that this allows the victim to begin the process of moving forward.

“We remain absolutely committed to the investigation of sexual offences and bringing the vile perpetrators of these crimes before the court.”

South Yorkshire Police said no photograph was currently held of Rumble.
