Man injured after being hit by car on M1 slip road at Aston

A MAN was seriously injured after being hit by a car on a motorway slip road.

The 23-year-old was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a silver Kia Ceed on the entry slip road to the M1 northbound at junction 31 for Aston at around 12.20am on Saturday.

The driver of the Kia, a 19-year-old woman, was not injured in the incident.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 16 of December 9.
