Man in hospital after Bolton-on-Dearne pub assault
A MAN has been hospitalised with a serious head injury after a disturbance broke out in a pub.
Police were called to reports that a man was injured outside the Dearne Tap at around 12.30am on Friday.
A police spokeswoman said enquiries found that the 48-year-old man had suffered a serious head injury during a disturbance inside the pub in Bolton-on-Dearne.

Hide Ad“The victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition,” she added.
“A full investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the assault including reviewing CCTV and carrying out local enquiries.”
Anyone who was in St Andrew’s Square at the time who may have information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 17 of November 16.
