Man in his 20s dies on M1 after "concerns for his safety"
A MAN in his 20s died near junction 34 of the M1 last night.
Officers were called at 9.19pm to reports of concern for the safety of a man at junction 34 for Meadowhall, a police spokeswoman said.
“Officers attended the scene and sadly a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene,” said the spokeswoman.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious.”
The M1 was closed for more than two hours between junctions 34 and 35.
