Man found seriously injured in Rotherham town centre

POLICE have appealed for help in finding out how a man was seriously injured in Rotherham town centre.

The 32-year-old was found with serious facial injuries on Upper Millgate, near All Saints’ Square at around 9.50pm on Wednesday, January 4.

But he told police he had no recollection of how he sustained the injuries and police believe he may have been assaulted.

The man was wearing grey trousers, a white shirt and a dark-coloured coat.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or email, quoting incident number 1029 of January 4.
