Man found injured in Conisbrough street

A MAN was taken to hospital after being found injured in Conisbrough.

Patrolling police officers spotted the man in Sheffield Road at 5.50am on Monday and discovered he was injured, although his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or serious.

A police cordon was put in place while inquiries took place in the New Hill area but a spokeswoman said there were not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's injuries.
