Man found dead in Clifton after suffering "head injury"
THE death of a man found dead in Clifton is not being treated as suspicious, police said.
A spokeswoman said officers had been called to Clifton Lane at 5.10pm yesterday, following reports of concerns for a man's safety.
She added: "On arrival, emergency services discovered a man - believed to be in his 40s - with significant head injuries.
"Despite the best effects of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner."
