Man charged over Wombwell burglary

A MAN has been charged with a burglary at the home of a 92-year-old woman in Wombwell.

Jason Turner (46) of Bartholomew Street in Barnsley, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday, February 28.

The charge relates to a reported intrusion on Saturday, January 20.
