A MAN has been charged following a suspected stabbing in East Dene.

Brad Earnshaw (36), of Albion Road, Clifton, is accused of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in connection with an incident on North Crescent last Wednesday.

Police said there had been an altercation in which a 30-year-old man was allegedly stabbed and suffered serious injuries.

Earnshaw was arrested the same day.

He has since been bailed to appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court in June.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 428 of May 4 or Crimestoppers via Crimestoppers-uk.org or on 0800 555 111.
