Man charged after steelworks break-in
A MAN has been charged with commercial burglary after a break-in at Liberty Steel.
Leon Smith (30), of George Place in Rawmash, will appear at Sheffield Crown Court on September 14.
Police said they were notified that a man had entered the site and was trying to remove cable shortly after 5.20am on Friday.
A force spokesperson said: “The man then fled across live railway lines.”
