Man breaks pelvis in crash

A MAN suffered from a fractured pelvis after he was involved in a two-car collision last night.

The 29-year-old Rotherham man was driving a blue BMW 318 from Maltby towards Tickhill, on Tickhill Road, when the car slid sideways and collided with a gold Rover 75 coming the other way.

The incident happened at around 5.35pm.

The man was taken to Rotherham General Hospital. The woman driver of the Rover, also from Rotherham, suffered a whiplash injury and serious stomach injury.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact the accident witness helpline on 0114 2202970.
