Man arrested on drug charge after town centre police chase
A MAN was arrested for drug offences after being chased by police through the town centre.
PCs Yu Xing Sui and Sian Tyson ran after the suspect through the Wellgate area last Monday after he was reported to be in possession of class A drugs.
Rotherham Central Neighbour Policing Team said: “He was eventually captured by the officers with a large quantity of heroin and cocaine found in his pocket.
“The man will now be required to appear in court for drugs offences.”
