Man arrested after arson attack on home
POLICE are investigating an arson attack on a Clifton home which left a woman in hospital.
Crews from Rotherham and Darnall stations attended the scene on Clifton Mount at 9.36pm yesterday to tackle the blaze which is believed to have been deliberate.
The fire, which broke out in the lounge, left the 27-year-old woman in hospital with smoke inhalation.
Crews were there for around 90 minutes and the downstairs was badly damaged.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
