Man and woman seriously injured in Bramley collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a Bramley collision which left a man and a woman with serious injuries.

A red and black Ford Fiesta and a blue Honda Civic were involved in a collision on Sandy Lane, around 50m from the entrance to Sandy Lane Farm, at around 5.30pm last Friday (January 25), a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.

"The Fiesta is believed to have been travelling from Bramley towards Thurcroft, with the Civic travelling in the opposite direction," said the spokeswoman.

"A 26-year-old man, driving the Fiesta, and a 41-year-old woman, driving the Civic, were both taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"Both remain in hospital in a stable condition.

"A passenger in the Civic, an eight-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries."

Anyone who was in the Sandy Lane area or witnessed the collision should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 638 of January 25.
