Man (61) in court over child abuse images
A MAN has appeared in court accused of making 21 indecent images of children.
Derek Powers (61), of The Avenue, Royston, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (20) charged with three counts of making indecent photographs of children.
He has been accused of having eight category A images (the most extreme level), six category B images and seven category C images.
The offences are alleged to have happened in Rotherham between 2007 and 2018.
Powers did not enter any pleas and was released on unconditional bail to next appear at Sheffield Crown Court on July 18.
