Man (51) seriously injured after collision on Centenary Way

A 51-YEAR-old pedestrian has been seriously injured in a collision on Centenary Way.

Police were called to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Centenary Way, heading towards Rotherham at around 6pm on Saturday. 

The pedestrian, a 51-year-old man, was taken to hospital via ambulance after suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Police.

The Advertiser has asked the police for an update on his condition.
