A MAN has been jailed for 20 years for raping a 15-year-old girl at a beauty spot.

It took jurors just one hour to find Paul Jones guilty of carrying out the knifepoint attack at Canklow Woods on November 14 last year.

Jones (48), of Herringthorpe Valley Road, denied rape, engaging in sexual activity in front of a child, possession of a knife used to threaten in a public place and causing a child to engage in sexual activity, as well as one charge of performing a sex act in front an 11-year-old girl at a Clifton bus stop six years ago.

But he was found guilty of all five counts at Sheffield Crown Court today (Thursday) and jailed for 20 years.
