A MAN who had dozens of indecent images of children has been placed on the sex offenders’ register.
Matthew Hancock (39), of Wilcox Green, Wingfield, had 141 indecent images, including 48 category A images — the most extreme level.
He was given a two-year community order at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.
Hancock admitted six offences of making indecent pseudo-photographs — namely 48 category A moving images, 41 category B movies, a category B moving image, 50 category C movies, and a category C still image – at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court in November.

A pseudo-photograph is an image made by computer-graphics or otherwise which appears to be a photograph.
The offences were committed in Rotherham in April last year.
Hancock was given a five-year sexual harm prevention order and was put on the sex offenders’ register for five years.
