A MAN who had dozens of indecent images of children has been placed on the sex offenders’ register.

Matthew Hancock (39), of Wilcox Green, Wingfield, had 141 indecent images, including 48 category A images — the most extreme level.

He was given a two-year community order at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.

Hancock admitted six offences of making indecent pseudo-photographs — namely 48 category A moving images, 41 category B movies, a category B moving image, 50 category C movies, and a category C still image – at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court in November.
