Man (27) injured after pizza shop attack

A MAN was taken to hospital after being attacked outside a town centre pizza shop.

The 27-year-old was left with serious injuries to his face after the incident outside Pizza Planet in Main Street, Rotherham, between midnight and 3am on Sunday, June 18.

He had been out socialising with friends and was assaulted as he walked alone towards the pizza shop and taxi rank.

Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident number 518 of June 19.
