MALTBY: students aim for Tall Ships adventure
TEN Maltby Academy students are fund-raising for sailing lessons which will teach them confidence, team working and leadership.
The Tall Ships Youth Trust will teach them the sailing skills on a 72-feet yacht which went round the world with the BT Global Challenge.
And the students are half way to their £2,000 target through car washing and packing bags at supermarkets.

Hide AdThe Derbyshire branch of the trust has provided £1,500 support and asked the youngsters to come up with the rest themselves to give them a sense of achievement at earning their passage.
