Maltby firefighters attend accidental blazes

MALTBY firefighters responded to two accidental fires overnight.

At 7.10pm staff attended Morthen Road, Wickersley where a Citroen Berlingo was alight, leaving around half-an-hour later.

At 9.55pm they attended Harewood Grove, Bramley where conifers were on fire.

Staff left after 35 minutes — flames are thought to have spread from a nearby wood burner.
