Major road in Parkgate blocked after accident
A MAJOR road in Parkgate was blocked after an accident this afternoon.
The crash happened near the Station pub in Aldwarke Lane and the road was still blocked at 5.30pm.
The collision happened at 5.10pm and the vehicles involved were a black Lexus and black and yellow R50 X motorbike.
A police spokeswoman said the incident was a crash between a car and a motorbike and the motorcyclist was taken to Rotherham Hospital with minor injuries.
The road reopened around an hour later.
