M1 roadworks warning
TWO lanes of the M1 will be closed each way this week as roadworks are carried out.
The stretch between junction 28 and 31 just south of Rotherham will be affected as engineers perform drainage and barrier works.
Two lanes southbound will be closed between 8pm and 6am from tomorrow until Thursday, while two northbound lanes will be shut at the same time from Thursday to Sunday.
The northbound exit slip road at junction 31 (Aston) will be closed for three nights from 8pm this evening.
A signed diversion route will operate via junction 32 and the M18.
