M1 roadworks planned for this week

TWO motorway slip roads will be closed for roadworks over the coming week.

The northbound entry slip road at M1 junction 35 Thorpe Hesley will be fully closed overnight tomorrow (Tuesday) for technology work.

At M1 junction 33 (Catcliffe), the northbound entry slip road will be shut overnight om Thursday for the same reason.

The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes, Highways Agency said.

The A631 at Tinsley viaduct, where the northbound carriageway remains closed around the clock until next Saturday, November 3.
