M1 motorway to be closed overnight near Rotherham

MOTORISTS have been warned of possible delays as works to upgrade the M1 motorway continue.

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between the slip roads at junction 32 on Friday.

The exit slip road at junction 35A and the southbound entry slip road at junction 33 for Catcliffe will also be closed on the same night.

The northbound exit slip road at junction 35 for Thorpe Hesley will be closed overnight tonight (Monday) and the southbound entry slip road at junction 33 for Catcliffe will be closed Monday to Friday.

And the southbound entry slip road at junction 35 will be closed on Tuesday.

Closures will be in place from 8pm until 6am and clearly signed diversions will be in place.
