M1 motorists face more South Yorkshire delays

Drainage and barrier work is taking place between junctions 34 and 35a, with a 50mph speed limit, while there will also be various overnight closures of lanes between 8pm and 6am this week.

The southbound entry slip road at junction 34 will be closed overnight tonight, with a signed diversion route will be in operation.

One lane in both directions remains closed betweens junctions 28 and 31, South Yorkshire as drainage and barrier work continues, with the project expected to run until 2014 and a 50mph limit in place.
