A PASSENGER suffered a fractured hip and spinal injuries in a crash on the M1.
A black Nissan Micra, being driven by a 50-year-old woman, was travelling north towards Leeds last night.
The car remained in lane one to exit at Meadowhall but then re-entered the motorway carriageway in front of a silver Audi A5.

A 28-year-old man, also from Leeds, who was a rear seat passenger in the Nissan, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Northern General Hospital.
The Nissan driver was also taken to hospital with cuts and bruises.
