Lost Chord announces summer concert fund-raiser

MUSIC for a Summer’s Evening will be the theme of this year’s annual Lost Chord Summer Concert.

The popular annual event, now in its 13th year, will once again be held at the beautiful and ancient All Saints Church, Laughton.

Special guest musicians will include last year's BBC Chorister of the Year Ella Wallis with accompanist Heidi Rolf, international Slovakian pianist Andrea Kmecova with violinist Orpheus Papafilippou and Baritone Stuart Pendred.

Following the perfomance on June 16, guests will, as usual, be welcome to enjoy refreshments at nearby Slade Hooton Hall, either in the garden, weather permitting, or in the Hall itself.

    “Our summer concert has become one of the highlights of the Lost Chord calendar,” said charity chief executive Helena Muller.

    Tickets cost £25 and include champagne cocktails and canapés at Slade Hooton Hall after the performance.
