AN ARTICULATED lorry ended up in the middle of a roundabout on the Dearne Valley Parkway on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the incident near Hoyland at around 4.50am.
The white HGV was still there during the morning rush hour but was removed later that day.
A motorist, who passed the scene, said barriers and trees had been knocked down by the lorry before it came to a stop on the roundabout.
South Yorkshire Police said no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
The driver was taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be serious.
