Lorry driver "unhurt" after crashing vehicle into house

A LORRY driver who crashed their vehicle into a house escaped unhurt, police said.

A LORRY driver who crashed their vehicle into a house escaped unhurt, according to the fire service.

The HGV hit a building in Willow Garth, Wombwell, at 9.15pm last night.

Three fire crews were called to the scene.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “An LGV had crashed into a house.

“Fortunately, no-one was injured.”
