Log burner caused blaze at Maltby, fire service says

A FIRE was caused when a log burner spread to laminate flooring in Maltby.

The accidental blaze happened at premises on Highfield Park at 10.15pm on Saturday.

Fire crews from Maltby, Rotherham and Aston stations were there until 11.30pm.

A spokesperson for SYFR confirmed that the incident was recorded as accidental.
