Local pub asks: has Rotherham got talent?
The Masons Arms

A PUB is urging talented musicians to take part in a new talent contest run by the chain that owns it.

The Masons Arms in Wickersley wants people to enter Greene King’s Live at Your Local music talent competition.

The overall winner will get a £5,000 prize, a chance to perform at the O2 in London, a day in a recording studio — and their own weight in beer.

Qualifying artists will get the chance to perform live at the Masons Arms before heading to the first round heats and regional finals.

The overall winner’s track will also be added to the playlist of more than 1,000 Greene King pubs.

Musicians must pick up an application at the Masons Arms before the competition kicks off at the start of June.

More information is available at www.greeneking.co.uk/music, or by calling the Masons Arms on 01709 542223.
