Letter: Boarded up windows have darkened bridge
WHOSE bright idea was it to board up all the windows on the bridge from Forge Island, to Corporation Street? I realise it is probably a cost cutting exercise, but the bridge is now very dark, even in the middle of the day, with only one light lit.
Although it is still used, it is nothing like as busy as when Tesco occupied the site. I can see it becoming a muggers’ paradise. It certainly made me look over my shoulder when I used it today.
