Lesley reveals secrets for Lost Chord

OPERA singer Lesley Garrett is striking the right note for Rotherham charity Lost Chord.

The soprano is about to share some of the secrets of her extraordinary career to support the charity which provides interactive musical experiences for people struggling with dementia.

In Conversation With Lesley Garrett at Sheffield Hallam University’s Pennine Theatre on February 4 at 7.30pm will see the acclaimed Doncaster-born international star talking about her life both on stage and off.

She will also be singing some of her favourite songs and answering questions from the audience.

Lesley is a patron of the charity and the evening will give a boost to the Lost Chord High Notes appeal, which aims to raise more than £100,000.

“We are delighted that Lesley is supporting us in this way,” said Lost Chord chief executive Helena Muller.

“This evening will be a unique opportunity for Lesley's fans to learn more about her life and work, why she supports Lost Chord and, of course, to hear her sing some of her most famous pieces.”
