Kids face dearer bus fares
South Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority says the rise from 40p to 50p is due to cuts in transport budgets.

Officials say child concessionary fares in South Yorkshire are still the lowest in the metropolitan areas of England outside of London and even after the rise are likely to remain the lowest as others review their own fares.
Further 10p rises are due to come into effect in April 2012 and April 2013.
