ELECTION candidate Kevin Barron is not only running for Parliament, but also for charity in this weekend’s Sheffield Half Marathon.
The 63-year-old is taking part in the 13-mile race on Sunday with grandson Ross to raise cash for Rotherham Holiday Aid.
The charity helps give disadvantaged children and their families a much-needed break from the pressures of everyday life.
More than 1,500 families have been supported over the past 21 years.
