Keep kids safe by learning about ‘sexting’ dangers

PARENTS are to be offered a helping hand in keeping their kids safe by learning more about “sexting”.

The Lifewise Centre in Hellaby is hosting sessions to educate parents about the law on sending explicit pictures.

It is illegal to send inappropriate or explicit pictures or videos under the age of 18, including selfies.

The one-hour session at Lifewise from 7pm to 8pm on Tuesday, November 28, will deal with sexting and other issues face by children online, including sexual extortion and cyber bullying.

Call 01709 832455 or email lifewise.booking@southyorks.pnn.police.uk to book a place.
