SKIPPER Ryan Cresswell reckons the MIllers' growing defensive cohesion could be the key  to their climb up the League Two table.

Rotherham beat old enemy Chesterfield 1-0 at Don Valley on Saturday with a solid display from the back line, Adam Le Fondre scoring the crucial winner.

Cresswell is now hoping that the leaks at the back, particularly at home, are being plugged.

Said Cresswell: ""We're just finding the right balance between attacking and defending at the moment. We score a lot of goals but concede a few.

"I'd rather score one and keep a clean sheet rather than a 6-4 but we are working hard in all areas." he added.

The Millers next  face Bradford City at home tomorrow night.
