Junction closed in Kimberworth after road cordoned off by police
A POLICE cordon is in place in Kimberworth following an incident last night.
The junction of High Street and Meadowhall Road is sealed off with police tape, with no access for traffic.
Residents said the police helicopter had been spotted circling during the night and there is understood to have been a large police presence.
South Yorkshire Police has been contacted for further information.
Residents said they had been told the roads would be closed until this afternoon.
