Jogger dies in accident with truck

A JOGGER was killed after being hit by a truck which failed to stop at the scene.

The yellow Iveco Tipper had been overtaking a silver BMX 3 Series on Ruddle Lane between Micklebring and Edlington.

The 52-year-old pedestrian, from Conisbrough, died from his injuries after the incident, at 4.30pm on Thursday.

Officers want to speak with anyone who saw the jogger, any of the vehicles or the collision.
