Jail for convict who assaulted paramedic
A CONVICT who assaulted a paramedic after being released from prison has been sent back to jail.
Stephen Brumby (44), of Ridge Road, Rotherham, was jailed for 16 weeks at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Wednesday for assaulting paramedic Michelle Aydin.
Magistrates deemed the offence to be serious because Brumby had recently been released on licence from prison when he assaulted Ms Aydin last Monday (7).
Brumby, who admitted the offence, was also ordered to pay £115 victim compensation.
