Investigation continues into Parkgate warehouse blaze
IT could take weeks to find out the cause of a blaze in a furniture warehouse which was tackled by five fire crews for around eight hours.
The incident on Rawmarsh Road, Parkgate, on Friday (July 20) caused road closures and traffic delays after it broke out at around 1.55pm.
Staff had evacuated the premises prior to the fire brigade arriving on the scene, said a South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman, and no-one was injured.
She added: “Investigations are still ongoing and could take a number of weeks.”
