Introducing Tory candidate for Wales

Dear Sir,

My name is Charlotte Blencowe and I would like to use the Advertiser to introduce myself to the people of Wales Ward.

I am their Conservative candidate for the local elections on May 6. I want to represent the Wales ward because I want to take a stand against the domination of this Council by Labour. We need more scrutiny and more representation that is not Labour.

I am currently a teacher in an inner-city Sheffield school and I am on the future leaders programme which will see me in a headship role within 5 years.

My priorities for Wales ward are the roads, fairer taxes, housing for Rotherham families, accountability and value for money, and promoting the Wales ward. I hope i can count on the people of Wales for their vote so that some form of democracy can be brought to RMBC.
