Ice warning for Rotherham as temperatures plummet

ROTHERHAM could be set for a taste of winter this festive season — but don’t rush for the sledge just yet.

The Met Office has issued a yellow ‘be aware’ warnig for Wednesday morning, which is valid until 10am.

Temperatures have also plummeted compared to recent days.

The mercury is not expected to rise above 4°C today or tomorrow.

Forecasters have also predicted light snow showers for Friday morning.
