Hunt for top talent with 'The Swinton Factor'

A NEW talent show is being launched this week in a search for a new star.

The Park View in Swinton is hosting The Swinton Factor, with heats beginning at 8pm on Sunday.

All proceeds will go to the charity Transplant Sport, which promotes sport for people who have undergone organ transplants.

Among the judges is Transplant Games medallist Saskia-Jade Zurek, who excelled at sport after having a kidney transplant.

There will be six heats and a grand final where 12 acts will battle it out for a cash prize.

The competition costs £3 to enter and contestants can register on the night.
