Hunt for owners of stolen bikes

POLICE are asking whether cyclists in the Dinnington area recognise a number of seized bikes.

They were recovered from two addresses in the town and are believed to have been stolen locally.

Det Sgt Wayne Price said: “When bikes are stolen they tend to have any obvious identification marks removed and they can be quickly dismantled to make different bikes.

“We have managed to identify some of the bikes that we recovered but now we want to hear from anyone who may recognise these remaining bikes.”

The recovered bikes are at Rotherham Main Street police station and photos are available to view at Dinnington station.
