Hunt for missing teenager

A TEENAGER with learning difficulties has gone missing from home, leading police to appeal for help tracing him.

Jamie Bunting (18) from Dinnington was last seen at the town’s Addison Square bus stop with someone he knew last Wednesday evening (14).

Jamie is described as a white, slim, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall with short dark brown hair and “protruding” ears.

He was wearing black jogging bottoms with a grey hooded top and black baseball cap before he dispappeared. He also had on black and yellow Adidas trainers.

Jamie has learning difficulties with a lower mental age than his eighteen years. He is well known in the Dinnington area and spends a lot of time with his father.

His family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone who may know where he is to contact South Yorkshire Police on 01142 20 20 20 quoting incident 421 of April 18.

A police spokeswoman added: “If Jamie sees this appeal, he is asked to make contact with his family who are very worried about him and just want to make sure he is safe and well.”
