Hunt for knifeman mugger
A WOMAN was threatened with a knife during a street robbery in which her mobile phone was stolen.
The 44-year-old was on Station Street, Swinton, with a friend when they were approached at 8pm on January 30.
Police found the woman’s handbag in a bin on Charnwood Street but the Sony Ericsson Zylo was missing.

Hide AdThe offender is described as a white, 5ft 9ins tall and aged in his late teens or early 20s.
He has a medium build and a smooth round face with “squinty” eyes and short, dark hair.
He was wearing a grey zip-up jacket with a mottled or camouflage effect and black or dark grey trousers at the time.
